6 tips to eatting healthy and staying slim:
- Avoid sweet food - if it is not possible change the normal sugar with natural sweeteners like raw honey, maple syrup, stevia, xylitol and occasionally raw sugar (turbinado, rapadura, sucanat) or maple sugar, also known as Indian sugar.
- Increase food rich in fiber - You can eat more fruits and vegetables that contain lots of fiber and good for digestion.
- Cut down on red meat - Reduce does not mean stop eating red meat at all. You should still eat meat but in smaller portions.
- Drink more water. It is recommended to reduce the amount of drinking alcohol, cold water and energy drinks which contain multivitamins. If you get enough nutrients from food, why should get more from a multivitamin drink? While drinking cold water is refreshing, it can make big bellies.
- Eat steamed or boiled food rather than fried. Food high in oil content not only makes you put on weight, but also increase your heart attack risk.
